A first-class experience!
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years working in education, leadership and management. Those experiences taught me the value of listening carefully and communicating clearly, helping people feel comfortable and supported. They also gave me a real appreciation for the importance of preparation and attention to detail - it matters so much that we get things right!
Whether I am working with a couple planning their wedding or a family arranging a funeral, my approach is always the same. I take the time to understand what matters most to the people involved and then create a ceremony that reflects that with warmth, professionalism and care.

Although I am based in Suffolk, I regularly work throughout East Anglia, London and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a celebrant and a registrar for weddings?
A registrar is responsible for completing the legal requirements of a marriage in England and Wales and must work within a prescribed format. This can cost as little as £62. You need a registrar to legalise your ceremony - but they don't need to run your ceremony - that's just something they offer! If you legalise your ceremony separately, then choosing a celebrant to lead your ceremony gives you much greater freedom and flexibility.
As a celebrant, I work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, personalities and values. You can choose your own wording, include family members and friends, incorporate meaningful rituals, and hold your ceremony in a location that is special to you.
Many couples choose to complete the legal paperwork separately and then enjoy a celebrant-led ceremony that feels entirely their own - with no restrictions whatsoever.
Where do you work?
I am based in Suffolk in the UK and I regularly conduct ceremonies across the rest of East Anglia including Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. I am also happy to travel further afield and to London.

I work closely with my clients throughout the months leading up to their ceremony. We discuss ideas, structure, readings, personal stories and any special elements you would like to include. My role is to guide you through the process and help create a ceremony that feels right for you.
Can we include personal touches in our ceremony?
Absolutely. One of the benefits of choosing a celebrant-led ceremony is the freedom to make it personal. Whether that involves family traditions, cultural and symbolic rituals, music, readings or contributions from loved ones, we can create a ceremony that reflects what matters to you most of all.
