A Celebrant-led wedding will ensure you have choices!

‘Is this all I can have?’ These are not the words you want to hear from a bride who is looking for a beautifully crafted ceremony on her wedding day!

This bride, like many others, wanted something other than the normal ceremony offered by the registration service! She wanted something more unique. She wanted her ceremony to be a celebration of them both as a couple. On her special day, she didn’t want a wedding ceremony that would be ‘ordinary’ and ‘just like everyone else’s’. What she wanted was choice. The choice to have personal vows and no restrictions on content whatsoever!

I advised her that booking me, an independent celebrant, to lead her ceremony would change what she could have immeasurably! She would have much more choice and control over her ceremony.

One wedding planner I spoke to recently commented on just how ‘ordinary’ a wedding ceremony can be when officiated over by a registrar. ‘It’s just not very special’, she said. Well, I certainly wouldn’t want that for any of my couples. I don’t think you want that either!!

Yes, there are many highly professional registrars in the industry. They are very experienced and determined to do a good job for everyone. But, unfortunately, their hands are tied when it comes to fully personalising a couple’s ceremony. Alternatively, a celebrant will create a completely unique ceremony for you. The ceremony will be entirely tailored to you as a couple. It’s the only way to go!

Your ceremony will be the best start to your wedding day that you could ever want to have. It won’t be perfunctory or legalistic. Instead it will be absolutely beautiful, centred around you, and different from everyone else’s!

I will write and deliver a full ceremony for you however I will not complete your legal marriage. You should have your marriage legalised at a registry office before or after your wedding day. This can be done with the couple and just two witnesses for as little as £46* leaving you to have a fabulous, bespoke and fully unique wedding day for you and your guests to enjoy!
